St. Patrick's Day!
As each day passes I am one day closer to graduation. My Father likes to send me e-mails with the subject line of "clock" and to remind me that there are only a few weeks left. Thanks Dad! I am starting to feel the anxiety of wanting to know what I am going to do with my life. I am still waiting to hear about my Fulbright application and creating lists of school districts that I would like to apply to if I do not move to Korea.
I completed my thesis and turned it into the copy center this past week. It felt wonderful to finally be done. Although I am still student teaching, I have some extra time without my thesis to work on and am getting eight hours of sleep again.
This past week was my first St. Patrick's Day on campus and it was amazing. The weather was beautiful and campus was wild. Lots of people were out in their front yards and I felt like it was a huge block party around the student neighborhood. Everyone was wearing green and most people had green mouths from the green drinks that were being served at the local restaurants. Although I was teaching the next morning, it was nice to be able to go out to dinner and spend St. Patrick's Day with my fellow classmates.
