Personal Interests, Hobbies, Accomplishments, etc.: My favorite things to do include my favorite people and my favorite things. Most of my interests revolve around God, UD, and softball!
Why UD?: My friend plays volleyball at Wright State, so my junior year of high school I came to visit her and stopped at UD as well. At the beginning of my tour, my tour guide told us how she decided that she was going to UD on her tour. I turned to my dad and told him that I was coming to UD. UD was exactly how I pictured college. I loved it and saw myself going to school here. My dad reminded me that I wanted to play college softball. After his reality check, I decided to look into contacting the softball coach and inquiring about softball camp. I came that summer for camp, returned the next fall for an official visit, and never even considered another school. I visited quite a few schools, but after comparing them to UD, they were out of the running. I only wanted to come to UD. My friends were jealous that I knew where I wanted to go for so long. I wished they could have come to UD with me to visit. Then they might have ended up here as well.
Favorite Spot on Campus: That's a tough one...but I'll have to say the Galley. (I LOVE ice cream)
Favorite Place to Go in Dayton: Second Time Around on Brown Street!!! It is definitely the best kept secret in Ohio!
Favorite Place to Study: My bed that doubles as a couch, the Roesch Library, or the Learning Space on the Second Floor of Marianist.
Favorite Thing to Do When You're Not Studying: Spending time with my friends, roommates, and LH LOVES. Definitely watching movies (I own over 300 of them), playing Super Nintendo, and scrapbooking (I might have a small obsession with pictures). And by far, my absolute FAVORITE thing to do when I'm not studying is to sit in my front yard and have incredibly long conversations with people and just catch up on life.
