Winning (or Losing) the Busy Game

"You may only be taking 12 credits, but you are a very busy girl. You sleep less than I do!"

In my house, we rate your busy-ness by the amount of sleep you get. Susan and I are the winners (or losers) for the least amount of sleep last night. That means we win the busy game for Tuesday.

I've just been a busy-body. The best part about it is, I haven't really been stressed about any of it. Usually you hear about people who are so stressed out because they have so much to do. I'm pretty excited about the stuff I do.

I've been organizing a lot more of the Athletes in Action meetings this year. It's been an awesome opportunity to fill a meeting with games, talks, videos, prayer and discussion. It's even helping me prepare for the lesson planning I will be doing in a few weeks.

Lighthouse is in full swing this semester. Last weekend was team retreat. I'm so ready for this tonight's meeting. The first meeting after team retreat always has a different dynamic. (And it's a great dynamic at that!) This semester, my job for the retreat is music and hospitality. I'll be helping make the retreatants feel welcome! And we've even got one of my favorite games lined up for the weekend...telephone charades. It's hard to explain in writing, but so hilarious to play!

With tonight's meeting going until close to midnight, I'm sure I'll be in the running for winning the busy game tonight.
