Lighthouse Retreat October 23-25th!

Campus Ministry has 3 main retreats open for sophomores, juniors and seniors. I'm apart of the planning team for Lighthouse!!! The Lighthouse Retreat is only a few weeks away and in my eyes things are really starting to come together...but I'm not sure the rest of team would actually agree with me on that one.

Sign-Ups are due...tomorrow. And officially...one person is signed up. How'd that happen??!?

I hope I don't sound too desperate when I ask those of you who are reading this on campus...TO SIGN UP IMMEDIATELY!! I heard that the sign-ups at ministry.udayton.edu are not working...so that means you need a paper application! Shoot me and email at katie@udayton.edu if you want one!!

Besides the whole 'not having at least one person for every small group' thing...I'm still pretty optimistic about the retreat.

We re-vamped a few things..but I'm excited about it.
So what if my prayer group hasn't finalized what we're doing.
So what if our team t-shirts haven't been ordered yet.
So what if we haven't picked out ALL of the songs yet
So what if no one comes...

Then I'll have a great retreat with spontaneous prayer, non-matching shirts, and obscure music by myself.

But really...I'm confident we'll pull things together. We always do!

I've decided to put the rest of the retreat in God's hands. The people he wants to come will be there. I don't need to worry about it. He's got it under control. As long as I've done everything in my power to get the word out, that's all I can do.
