Fall Fun
The Lighthouse Team decided that we needed to spend some more time bonding. So on Sunday most of us took a trip to a local pumpkin patch for some fall fun!
We knew of two options for pumpkin picking...Young's Dairy and Fulton Farms. We decided to go with Fulton Farms because they had a sweet deal on fall activities. A corn maze, 'straw slide', petting zoo, hay ride and pumpkin picking for $7!!! You really can't pass that up. I believe at Young's Dairy you had to pay per activity.
My goal was to find the LARGEST pumpkin...with the least amount of work. I scoped out my area and decided that there was NO reason to walk a million miles away (like a large group of my friends) because I would just have to walk back with my pumpkin...and I did not want to carry this LARGE pumpkin a million miles back. (Please excuse my exaggeration..)
I found a perfectly large pumpkin right in the middle of the path...like it was meant to be. I'm pumped to carve out a very detailed picture in my pumpkin sometime next week...I'm just not sure what that picture will be of.
Bonding with my Lighthouse team members was a really enjoyable experience and I'm hoping there will be more bonding activities even though the retreat is less than 24 hours away.
