Then he asked me to marry him ;)

Omg everyone, I am engaged, can you believe it? Let me tell you what happened... My now fiance had been telling me for the last few weeks that he wanted to take me out of town just to get away during Thanksgiving break so he told me that we were going to the Columbus area so I was not at all excited about having a vacation. Originally we were supposed to be going on Thanksgiving Day but I was very adamant about leaving out the next day since I wanted to have dinner with my family but he was really fighting me about not changing the day but I convinced him and we left Friday. Once we got on the road, I - 70, I quickly realized that we were not heading toward Columbus so once we got past Indianapolis I knew we were going to Chicago. Let me back up, Chicago means a lot to us because that is where we went on our first vacation exactly 2 years ago to the weekend and that is where we both realized that we loved each other... I know you are thinking 'how cute'! Back to the story... Once we got to Chicago I realized that we were staying at the same hotel that we did the first time we went to Chicago, Hotel Sofitel, it was really nice, and so I was very happy. He told me he wanted to take me to dinner, somewhere casual, and told me what time to be ready so then we left the hotel. As we walked out of the hotel, he had a limo waiting for us and when we got him he had made a DVD of all of our pictures and video footage with songs playing in the background that meant a lot to us. I still had no idea but I was just so happy and shocked that he had done all this. Then... one of my favorite songs that I told him I would like to get married to came on and he got down on one knee in the limo and proposed to me! By that time I had lost it, I immediately called my mom who already knew since he went and asked for their blessing earlier that morning before we left and then I called the rest of my family and friends. After all of that the limo dropped us off at Morton's Steakhouse, my favorite restaurant, and it was just the perfect ending to the perfect night!

So as you can see I had a really good break, one that I will never forget, and now the fun of planning begins! Other than that I am still excited about graduation in a few days, I just need to get caught up on everything, anyone want to volunteer to do some homework for me? Well, I need to start focusing on my work now but of course I wanted to keep you all updated.
~Peace
