The Final Stretch
OMG, I cannot believe that I am getting ready to graduate in December, can you? I am so excited about graduating but at the same time I believe that leaving college will be a sad time. It was pretty much the same as leaving high school; at the time I took all of those last senior moments for granted and I just wanted to rush through the graduation ceremony and hurry up and get to college and now I regret it as I look back on all of the friends that I had and I do not even see or speak to half of them. Needless to say I do not want to do the same thing, actually over the summer I said that I would have fun and go out like every weekend but for the last two weekends, well this weekend included, I have not gone anywhere, I just hope this does not last through the entire semester.
So, after my last co - op I ended up interviewing for a full time position as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and I was presented with an offer last week and I did accept it, no more job search! The hardest part of the whole thing was letting the other company that offered me a full time position know that I was not going to accept their offer. I honestly felt really bad because they are a great company and I really loved the people there, which made it so hard. Well, I believe that I made the right decision and I really like Emerson so we will see how it all goes.
Well since I am such a nerd I am going to do some homework now, I know early on a Saturday morning over a three day weekend, but I must stay on top of my work! Talk to you guys later, have a great long weekend!
