This Is My Suitcase

In college I would occasionally throw together a concert to have at my house. I knew a few friends in good bands so we had everything from a hardcore show to a alt rock country show and a few things in between. One concert last year we had in our living room and had people sitting in the windows just to hear, people from 3 streets over came to watch. It was a very "UD" moment.

A lot fo kids start college bands. Be it the Werks(Http://myspace.com/thewerks) , Melting Room or even the John TUmbush Experiance Project. it is a lot of fun to play music for your friends and even put on a show or two around campus. I myself got up at senior picnic and played harmonica, playing music is a blast. Hopefully this video will show the fun one can have simply by picking up an instrument and banging out some chord progressions.

This video is a compilation of one of those bands I had play at my house. The band is comprised of several fo ym good friends. The lead singer, Joe, is actually on tour with a band called Limbeck right now. They just got back as well from California where they spent a week or two recording a demo CD. The first CD they produced was listed as one of the top 10 best albums of the year by the lead singer of Motion City Soundtrack. If you like what you hear check out there myspace.
