Parents Weekend Fun with Joe!!!
It's spelled Elliott, not Eliot dude.
One must occasionally kick back, relax, and take a moment to step back from everyday life. This is what parent's weekend centers around. It is a chance for parents to remember long gone college days and enjoy a little time with their kids. Some of the most memorable moments of my time at UD have come on parents weekend (fathers V. fathers followed by mothers V. mothers in corn hole stand as the funniest thing I have ever seen) On parent's weekend many people simply go to dinner or walk around campus, my house decided to take a different approach.
As you will see in this video blog we had a pig roast. My roommate Joe and I woke up at roughly 5:30am to start the fire to make sure that the pig would be cooking for a solid 12 hours. In the midst of our cooking, we met everyone from the people who deliver the Wall Street Journals to a police officer or two (everyone with a special pig cooking methods strangely enough). What you see his blog is a mix of the adventure of cooking all the way to the pig (and almost myself) catching on fire. Enjoy.

This was over Halloween weekend, thus I have the mustache as part of my Lieutenant Jim Dangle costume. In addition, I look really good with a mustache.
