The Annual Girls' Night
Last weekend was our annual "Girls' Night" with my friends from high school. We try and plan at least one night each summer where we can all get together again and catch up on each other's lives. In high school our "group" consisted of ten girls and we were all extremely close. Almost every weekend during our sophomore year we would get together for a sleepover at someone's house. So when we get together now, it's great to catch up and relive old high school memories.
We started out the night by having a wonderful dinner at Carrabbas. Then, everyone made their own dessert and we headed back to one of my friend's houses to just hang out for the rest of the night, eat our favorite junk food, and talk, talk, talk...just like the old days. It's funny to see how much all of us have changed in the last 5 years, yet when we get back together, it feels the same as it did in high school as if we haven't missed a beat.
It's great to keep in touch with your high school friends even while you're away at college because even after college is over, you always have your friends from home because it's their home, too.
