Only 1 MONTH until finals?! How did this happen?
Today my English teacher commented on how our final exam was a month from today. "What?!" I thought, as I immediately realized it was already almost the middle of November. Maybe it's because I'm getting older and busier at school, but this has definitely seemed to be the fastest semester since I've been in college.
I'm finally done with all my test and papers that I had last week, though. Well, I still have to finalize this group project for one of my classes, but we're pretty much done, so I can't even express how good it feels to have all of those tests and papers behind me.
The problem, however, is that I realized not long after I finished all the work from last week, finals will be just around the corner. I guess the busy-ness never ends, does it?
This past weekend was an amazing time to get away from everything. I went on one of the Campus Ministry retreats called "More 2 Life." It was such a wonderful experience, I don't know even know how to describe it. There were about 40 retreat participants and 20 leaders, and we spent an entire weekend together in a beautiful nature perserve where we were able to have time for self-reflection, prayer, and faith sharing. By the end of the weekend everyone had become so close in just those three days, that it was so exciting to come back to school with a whole new community of friends.
That's UD...community everywhere, all the time. And I can't get enough of it.
