I'm Back!

It was a fun and relaxing trip, and I even got offered a job in the process! Yep, I got my first job offer for post-college and it is my first choice, too! I had a great time in Phoenix and getting the job offer at the end of my weekend there was a perfect end to the visit. I am so excited for this opportunity, although nothing is officially set in stone yet. I am still looking at one other service organization in Colorado, but I am definitely leaning toward Phoenix since it's always been my first choice. Luckily, I will get to fly out to Colorado as well. It's really nice having options for next year and it's nice knowing that I am much more sure of my future now than I used to be. Speaking of being sure of our future, our entire house has been doing an awesome with that! Kelly has been accepted to her top service program, Alyssa has been accepted to her grad school/service program, and Melissa has received a full scholarship to one of her top grad schools! We thought it has been a great day/week for our house and decided to celebrate by going out to dinner...and by "going out" I mean getting Chipotle to go...so maybe it wasn't that fancy, but it was still a celebration! Once again, that feeling of bittersweetness is hitting me. On one hand I'm so excited for the next chapter of my life, yet on the other I am extremely sad to hear that we have less than two months until graduation. As seniors I think this has made us pretty emotional...and I think this will continue for another few months...
