Go Spatulas!
I love intramural sports. It's year three of the Spatulas, our intramural basketball team my roommates and some friends of ours formed freshman year. Each year, we start another season enthusiastic about our many consecutive weeks of games. Last year we were undefeated until the playoffs. This year we haven't been as fortunate, but it's still been a great season. The biggest let-down of intramural basketball is not the losses we endure, but the disappointment of teams not showing up for our games. When this happens we get to "win" by default, but then we miss out on an entire week of playing! It's already happened to us twice this year, unfortunately, but I'm just hoping it doesn't happen again. We only have one more game left until playoffs start, so please root for the Spatulas and pray that we might take away at least one real victory before the season ends!
