A Few of My Favorite Things: UD, my roommates, my iPod, making a fool of myself, laughing, making people laugh, traveling, trying new things, summer, speaking Spanish, reading for fun, doing service, and running.

Extracurricular Activities: Marianist Student Community, Theta Phi Alpha Secretary, Intramural Basketball (Go Spatulas!), Psi Chi (the psychology honors fraternity)

Personal Interests, Hobbies, Accomplishments, etc.: Studying abroad in Spain for a month...something I always wanted to do and finally got to! It was an incredible trip that I'm so blessed to have experienced.

Why UD?: I had never heard of this school until the beginning of senior year when one of my high school friends visited campus. She told me she liked it but said it was "too Catholic" for her and that I should check it out. As soon as I stepped foot on campus, I knew this was the place for me (it sounds cliche, but it's true). Although this is a Catholic university, it's not "too Catholic" at all. In fact, it's just right because it offers so many different ways to grow in your faith...yet no one ever feels forced to become involved with it if they don't want to. Yes, I am involved with many of the faith-based organizations here on campus, but I enjoy, respect, and appreciate the diversity of other students' beliefs as well. The community here is amazing, too, and I don't think it could ever be replicated at any other University. Community is definitely the most overused word on campus and I LOVE it!

Favorite Spot on Campus: KU during lunch time because I love running into so many people that I know...or Humanities Plaza on a sunny day...it's a tie!

Favorite Place to Go in Dayton: Anywhere on Brown Street, the Greene, or Dorothy Lane Market.

Favorite Place to Study: I'm going to be boring and say the library. The silence is perfect for focusing, though. It's the only place I really trust myself to get work done.

Favorite Thing to Do When You're Not Studying: Being involved with my Marianist Community and my sorority and just spending time with my roommates.
