'In Dublin's Fair City'
I apologize for the lack of blog entries lately. As soon as finals week hit, graduation was right around the corner and time really FLEW! And now here I am, in IRELAND having the time of my life. We left the States on Tuesday and arrived here on Wednesday. It was a long, yet great flight, especially because all five of us (Christin, Kelly, Pam, Sarah, and me) are all together. It's like we are all still living together in college, except we are in Europe instead...pretty crazy. We spent our first two days in Dublin, and now we are in Galway, a city out West. It is absolutely gorgeous here. Today we made a trip out to the Cliffs of Mohr, which were breathtaking to say the least. Tomorrow we plan on heading out to the Aran Islands, another beautiful location off coast of Ireland. One of the best parts of our trip so far is that we have been able to meet up with two of our other friends from UD, Jon and Kevin. They decided to come to Ireland after graduation as well, so we met up last night and spend the evening enjoying the Irish pub culture and reminiscing on our wonderful four years at UD and how glad we are to be done, but how much we are going to miss everything. It's been a weird feeling being asked if I'm in college and saying I am a "graduate" instead of a student. It's definitely a weird transition but fun being able to do it here in Ireland with my friends. Graduation was amazing, but I think I need to dedicate an entirely different blog to that topic, so when I get back from Europe I'll be sure to finish updating on my new life as a college graduate!
