Wong Fei Hung Got Us Through the Week
Unfortunately, celebrating my new internship did not involve a nice dinner, but it did involve going home to see some of my high school friends, ride ATVs, and grill out. Although I really would have loved a nice dinner, I cannot complain. I had a great weekend. However, celebrations can never last forever. As spring break approaches, school has gotten progressively more intense. So, when Monday came around, the celebration was over and I was back at my computer typing a paper for my accounting class.
Luckily, my roommate and I came up with a wonderful idea to get through the pain of spending all day and night doing work. We rented movies. These were not just normal movies; they were Kung Fu works of art. Kung Fu masters Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li fought in the background as we studied. We watched movies like Drunken Master, Enter the Dragon, Legend of Drunken Master, Once Upon a Time in China, and Return of the Dragon. It might have taken us longer to do our work but it got us through the week. That is what matters right?
