Senior Gala
Before exam week, the Student Government Association organized several senior events to allow those graduating to remember the UD life one last time. I was able to participate in some of the events even though I didn't graduate since I finished my fourth year. I was happy to be with my friends before they graduated and headed off to jobs and graduate schools across the country.
One of the events was a Senior Gala, which was held at the Dayton Masonic Center near the Art Institute. The Masonic building is a beautiful classical structure and was the perfect location for the Gala. Buses brought seniors to and from the venue, and a large spread of delicious appetizers was provided. A student band played for the first half and then a DJ took over. It was a great opportunity for me to spend time with the people who I came to know so well over the last four years.
