Home for the Holidays

It is great to finally be back home for winter break. This is the longest break that I've ever had (and probably ever will have). We have a full three weeks off, although breaks never seem to last quite long enough. My year-long co-op has come to an end, a fact that I'm a little sad and a little happy about at the same time. I made it out of Ohio during the third blast of winter this season. It's relaxing to be in sunny and "cool" Atlanta without the threat of snow or ice. So far, I have spent my holiday catching up on bills and addressing issues dealing with my student organizations. It is definitely a relief to have home-cooked meals every night and my laundry done more often than every 2-3 weeks!

I am always reminded around Christmas of how quickly time seems to be passing by. It always feels like Christmas creeps up on you, especially when you realize that you only have 6 more days to start and finish all your Christmas shopping. The stores are always hectic now, which is why I try to figure out exactly what I'm going to purchase before I set out. I guess you could call it "picking up" rather than "shopping."

Anyway, I'm sure it will be time to get back to school before I know it. I should probably try to remember how to do homework and study for tests again.
