Home Stretch to Spring Break!
Well, I never thought it would come, but here we are - only three days until spring break! Of course, everyone has a lot of work to do before we leave. In fact, I'm just taking a break right now from studying for a mechanics test tomorrow that I'm not looking forward to at all.
This past weekend was lil' sibs weekend at UD. As the youngest of six children, I've participated in this tradition at many colleges, including a few times at UD. Lil' sibs weekend is always fun and is an opportunity for students to spend time with their siblings and show them what college is like. A lot of the planned activities for the weekend are directed towards younger children. But it's nice for teenage siblings to just come and hang out with their brother or sister and get a taste of college living. I know I have a lot of good memories from lil' sibs weekend with my older brothers and sisters, and I had a pretty good idea of what college was like before I arrived at UD.
I'm very excited about spring break. I'm going to visit my sister who's spending a month in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I will be sure to return with plenty of pictures!
