Getting settled for the summer
After a hectic week last week both at work and at home, this week is quite relaxing. Last week, I had a project coming due at work, and I was in the process of packing and moving to my apartment in Cincinnati. My parents and my sister came to help me move all my stuff. It's amazing how much you discover that you have when you have to move it all. But overall, it was not too bad of a move. We got it done in one day, and the rain held off until after we were finished. It was great to see some of my family as well.
Now I am here in my apartment, and my friend Mark is moving in this week. He is also working in Cincinnati this summer. My apartment is nothing too fancy, but it is comfortable and very affordable. It is also about 15 minutes from work, a nice change from the commute to Dayton. My favorite features of my apartment are: balcony, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and shower with high water pressure. We will be gradually moving more furniture in over the next couple of weeks, but I thought I would share a few photos of my new pad with you.
