Finals Week

And so it begins: one of, if not the, worst week of every semester. The week of finals usually involves plenty of stress, tears, and agony brought upon by a few tests weighing heavily down on your g.p.a. for the semester. It's a chance for you to show how much you've learned in your classes, but it is still difficult to determine whether or not you'll be well focused for the two hours that count for around a quarter of your grade. For instance, I barely got up in time for my 8am final today, and I wasn't really awake until about the third question. So it's not that I didn't know the material or study hard enough. The test was tough because I have a hard time getting up early.

The center of campus life during finals week is definitely the library. While at any other time during the semester you have no problem getting a seat or table, the entire building is packed this week. They sometimes have stress relieving incentives in the library such as free coffee or even massages.

The best part about finals week is the end, and I can't wait for that feeling of satisfaction. In the mean time, though, I'll be cramming as much as I can into my head.
