College Football Kickoff
Ah, the time of the year that all guys (and some girls) look forward to: the start of the college football season. This is when one can enjoy wings, chips, and salsa in front of the television and spend entire Saturdays doing so. I myself am not incredibly loyal to one team. However, I do identify myself as a fan of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Notre Dame.
Although the number of Notre Dame fans at UD is significant, the most popular team in Ohio is of course the Buckeyes. And, unfortunately, these fans have much to cheer for as their team begins the season ranked #1. However, I have faith that predictions will change as the season gets underway.
UD played their first football game today and won. I did not attend, but I hope to for a future game. Although the football team does not have as much fan support and interest as the basketball team, it is fun to head over to Welcome Stadium on a nice fall day to cheer on the Flyers.
