Back to UD for the last time
It's a bittersweet feeling, coming back to UD after winter break for my final semester. Unlike most winter breaks, I was actually anxious to return to campus and get back to work. I'm excited to finish off my undergraduate career and move on to the next chapter of my education. I'm waiting to hear back from graduate schools, anxious to know where I'll be headed after UD. I'm looking forward to getting the degree that I've worked towards over the past eight semesters. And I cannot wait until I finish my honors thesis, on time of course, in mid-March.
But, like most seniors at UD, I'm sad that this semester will be filled with "lasts". Last first day, last spring break, last projects and tests, last time learning from the professors I know so well now. In the fall, I'll be starting all over again at a new institution. And like most UD alum, I will undoubtedly miss the UD community.
For better or for worse, I've chosen a rather rigorous course load for my final semester, so the challenge will be to do well in my classes while cherishing all aspects of my college life.
