Back to Dayton
This past weekend was Father's Day, so I went home to Atlanta and made a surprise visit for my dad. I flew down Friday night and came back Sunday night. It was a short trip but I really enjoyed it. It was great to see my family again, especially since this is my first summer away from home. I guess it's good that I'm getting used to being away from home for good since it's going to happen sooner or later. It was tough coming back to work; I just wanted to stay home on vacation for the rest of the summer. But I know my job is good experience, and the summer really isn't that much longer. First session is over by the end of this week. Sometimes it seems that the days drag on, but ironically the weeks seem to fly by.
It has gotten very hot and muggy here, and the fan in my window is barely keeping me from burning up. I have a new found appreciation for air conditioning.
